Now it's officially starting. 'Weak Hero Class 2', to be released on April 25, is the sequel to 'Weak Hero Class 1', which aired in 2022. Although it's the second season, the story of ‘Eunjang High School’, the main setting of the original webtoon, is just beginning, so expectations for this drama are higher than ever. Of course, many things changed from 'Weak Hero Class 1', so there's a significant possibility that this season will not follow the original exactly, making the actors' character interpretations highly anticipated. Let's take a look at the new actors joining 'Weak Hero Class 2.' 

In the original, Park Hu-min, a character representing 'Weak Hero' alongside Yeon Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon), joins from season 2. Unlike the essentially solitary Yeon Si-eun, he has good social relationships at school. At school, he is called 'Baku' and regarded as a guardian. He strives to keep Yeon Si-eun from getting caught up in the union, but he too cannot avoid conflict with the union due to his connection with Na Baek-jin.

In the drama version, Park Hu-min is played by Ryeoun. Since debuting in 2017, Ryeoun, who made a name for himself in strong romance or drama projects, is taking on his first action drama. As Hong Si-woo, a character serious about basketball, shone in the basketball team in his breakout role '18 Again', Park Hu-min is also depicted as the captain of the basketball team. The original did not have this setting, so one might think it’s influenced by Ryeoun, who took up basketball as a hobby after '18 Again'. While Yeon Si-eun is unexpectedly strong, Park Hu-min is strong enough to protect the school, so the action scenes in this drama are highly anticipated. Following the historical action showcased in 'Flower Scholars’ Romantic Drama', it will be interesting to see if he can excel in barehanded action as well.
