<Opposition>, Surpasses 600,000 Weekend Viewers, Tops Box Office

drew over 600,000 viewers during its opening weekend, topping the box office.

According to the Integrated Computer Network for Movie Ticket Sales on the 21st, the film attracted over 608,000 viewers between the 18th and 20th, achieving 69.9% of total sales, and secured the top spot at the box office.

Starring Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, and Park Hae-jun, and directed by Hwang Byung-guk, this film is a crime drama about the broker 'Opposition,' who profits by handing over drug crime information to law enforcement. Since its release on the 16th, it has not missed the top spot in the daily box office for a single day.

Directed by Kim Hyung-joo and based on the true story of legendary Go players Cho Hun-hyun and Lee Chang-ho, 〈The Match〉 gathered about 105,000 viewers during the same period, ranking second. The total number of viewers has reached about 1,998,000, and it's expected to surpass 2 million soon.

Ranking third is the Japanese animation 〈Attack on Titan: The Final Season - The Last Attack〉 with about 22,000 viewers, and fourth is the live-action film based on the popular game, 〈Minecraft: The Movie〉 with about 20,000 viewers.

As of 9 a.m. on the 21st, the top pre-sale rate is for the occult action film 〈The Sacred Night: Demon Hunters〉, starring and produced by Ma Dong-seok, which recorded a pre-sale rate of 26.4% and about 47,000 pre-sale viewers.

Following are 〈The Spy Gone North〉 starring Lee Hye-young (19.8%), 〈Opposition〉 (18.7%), and 〈Minecraft: The Movie〉 (11.9%).
