Disney+ has officially announced the production of the second season of the original action series 'The Killers' Shopping Mall', which garnered much attention last year.
On the 21st, Disney+ announced the production of Season 2 of 'The Killers' Shopping Mall' through its official channel. This season will see the return of major cast members from Season 1, including Lee Dong-wook, Kim Hye-jun, Jo Han-sun, Geum Hae-na, Lee Tae-young, and Kim Min.
Notably, new actors are joining this season. Japanese-Korean actor Hyun-ri, who appeared in HBO's 'Tokyo Vice 2', Masaki Okada from the Academy Award-nominated 'Drive My Car', and Jung Yoon-ha from Netflix's original 'Trunk' have been newly cast.
Director Lee Kwon, who directed the movie 'Door Lock' and the drama 'Save Me 2', will continue to direct from Season 1.
'The Killers' Shopping Mall' is an action drama depicting the intense rivalry between 'Murder Help', founded by Jeong Jin-man (played by Lee Dong-wook), a former team leader at a mercenary company, and his former agency 'Babylon'. In Season 1, the tense situations arising from Jeong Jin-man's niece Jeong Ji-an (played by Kim Hye-jun) becoming the target of the killers were vividly portrayed, receiving acclaim from viewers.
Season 2 is expected to present an even fiercer confrontation between 'Murder Help' and the mercenary company 'Babylon'.
Season 2 of 'The Killers' Shopping Mall' is scheduled to be released next year.
