BTS member Jin made a surprise appearance at Coldplay's concert in Korea on the 19th, lighting up the stage.

According to music industry officials, Jin took to the stage on the third day of Coldplay's concert at the Goyang Sports Complex, performing his solo debut single 'The Astronaut' and the collaborative track 'My Universe' by Coldplay and BTS.

Jin passionately performed 'The Astronaut' accompanied by the keyboard played by Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin. On stage, Jin leaned on Martin’s shoulder and Martin wrapped his arm around Jin, showcasing a close friendship and offering a special moment to the audience.

In the subsequent performance of 'My Universe', Jin and Martin were captured holding hands and bowing 90 degrees to the audience, heightening the atmosphere at the scene.

BTS and Coldplay achieved a number one spot on the US Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' through their collaboration 'My Universe', and have continued building their friendship by performing together at the American Music Awards (AMA).

Notably, Chris Martin is known to have directly participated in the composition, lyrics, and performance of Jin's solo song 'The Astronaut'. In October 2022, ahead of his military enlistment, Jin traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina to present this song alongside Martin at Coldplay's concert.
