BTS member Jin made a surprise appearance on the 19th at Coldplay's Korea concert, dazzling the stage.

According to music industry insiders, Jin took to the stage on the third day of Coldplay’s Korea concert at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in the afternoon, performing his solo debut single 'The Astronaut' and the Coldplay·BTS collaboration song 'My Universe'.

Jin passionately sang 'The Astronaut' to the accompaniment of a keyboard played by Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin. On stage, Jin leaning on Martin's shoulder or Martin putting his arm around Jin’s shoulder created intimate scenes, offering a special moment to the audience.

In the following performance of 'My Universe', Jin and Martin were seen holding hands and bowing 90 degrees to the audience, further elevating the atmosphere on site.

Through the collaboration on 'My Universe', BTS and Coldplay achieved the milestone of reaching number one on the US Billboard Main Single Chart 'Hot 100', and have continued to build their friendship by performing joint stages, such as at the American Music Awards (AMA).

Notably, Chris Martin is known to have directly participated in composing, writing, and performing Jin's solo song 'The Astronaut'. In October 2022, ahead of his military enlistment, Jin even traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to perform the song with Martin at Coldplay's concert.
