The tvN drama (hereafter ), which had its airing delayed due to legislative conflict, is finally set to greet viewers.

tvN announced at the production presentation held at the Ramada Seoul Sindorim Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul on the 10th, that the first broadcast is confirmed for the 12th.

, which began filming in 2023, was originally scheduled to air last year, but its scheduling was postponed as the government's policy to increase medical school admissions and the medical community's backlash became a social issue.

Shin Won-ho, the creator in charge of overall production, explained, "The situation (legislative conflict) unfolded after the mid-stage of filming, and the schedule originally planned for last year was slowly delayed," adding "My only concern was the content being misinterpreted in a way that wasn't intended due to some logic, as it should be enjoyed for what it is."

Shin also added, "Creating and delivering it is our part, and what viewers make of it or how they perceive it is entirely their part. We have no choice but to wait for their judgement."

PD Lee Min-soo, who directed the drama, mentioned, "The protagonist is indeed a doctor, but not a professor, just yet; they're still a novice resident," and added, "I strived to maintain the atmosphere of while providing differentiated entertainment."

This work expands directly on the universe of , with actors like Jung Kyung-ho and Kim Dae-myung, who were called '99ers' in the original, making special appearances.

Shin stated, "Everyone agreed to participate so willingly," adding, "Jung Kyung-ho and Kim Dae-myung even wanted their roles to appear in the main cast list instead of just special appearances."

The main characters of this drama are obstetrics and gynaecology residents, with young actors like Go Yoon-jung, Cynthia, Eom Jae-il, Kim Sa-bi, and Jung Jun-won appearing.

Kang Yoo-seok, who increased recognition with the role of Eun-myung in , shared, "Eun-myung has now become a doctor," and expressed his feelings, "I worked so hard and had such fun shooting that I'm sad it's over."

Actor Jung Jun-won laughed while mentioning, "It has been about a year since we finished filming, so I've even forgotten some parts of the story," adding, "I think I can now watch it from a more objective viewer's perspective."
