‘Someday Wise Intern Life’ is capturing both global popularity and buzz.
The tvN weekend drama ‘Someday Wise Intern Life’ (creator Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung / director Lee Min-su / script Kim Song-hee / planning CJ ENM Studios / production Egg is Coming) (hereafter ‘Unstoppable Interns’) which first aired last week, is climbing in Netflix global rankings, buzz rankings, and video view counts.
In episodes 1 and 2 of ‘Unstoppable Interns’, the chaotic social lives of first-year residents Oh I-young (played by Go Youn-jung), Pyo Nam-kyung (played by Shin Si-a), Eom Jae-il (played by Kang Yoo-seok), Kim Sa-bi (played by Han Ye-ji), and fourth-year resident Goo Do-won (played by Jung Joon-won) at Jongno Yulje Hospital's obstetrics department were depicted. The struggles of these eager but somewhat clumsy residents remind everyone of their own early career days, providing both hearty laughs and touching empathy. Particularly, Go Youn-jung, playing Oh I-young, is expected to deliver a dazzling performance, continuing her crucial role from the previous series 'Moving'.
